Pay and Play

Newmarket Tennis Club welcomes all visitors who wish to come along and play tennis. We have seven "Outside Courts" during the summer months but during the winter months (October to March inclusive), three of these are covered over by "the Bubble".

Bubble courts 1, 2 and 3 and the newly floodlit outside courts 5 and 6 need to be booked - please use the online booking system or phone 01638 662565.  The outside courts 4 and 7 (caged court) do not need to be booked.

The process for "Pay and Play" is as follows.

Before playing, please sign the Visitors Book in the club entrance or Bubble and put the appropriate fee in the envelope provided. This should then be posted through the letterbox of the clubhouse. Members are welcome to bring guests and should also use the Visitors Book to sign them in and pay the appropriate fee, as above, before playing.

We welcome larger groups who may wish to make regular bookings or for special events during the winter ("the Bubble" is ideal for this) and enquiries should be made to the Secretary by email (secretary@newmarkettennisclub.co.uk) or telephone 01638 662565.

Fees per court for 1½ hours are as follows;

The above Fees should be worked out on a pro-rata basis, for example, an adult non-member playing with a member should pay £8 for an Outside Court. Thank you - we know we can rely on your honesty.
